DEACONESS ODESSA OLUSOLA ADEBAYO

Joyful Mothers Ministry

Deaconess Odessa has a heart for women who desperately desire to have children. She presides over the Joyful Mothers Ministry, designed to walk alongside them while they believe God to bless them with a child. Joyful Mothers focuses on the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of these women as well as those who are pregnant. Deaconess Odessa longs to see these women equipped, encouraged, and strengthened in their faith with God’s Word. 

She is a lawyer by training and combines her legal expertise with Information Technology Project Management. Deaconess Odessa and her husband, Albert, have two children. 

PASTOR OLUFEMI ADEDEJI

Evangelism

Pastor Olufemi is serving in the area he is passionate about: reaching those who don’t know Christ and discipling them in their relationship with God. The Evangelism Department works with other ministries to develop creative ways to share the gospel in the local community. 

Pastor Olufemi has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is an entrepreneur. He loves traveling and reading.  He and his wife Bola have one daughter.

DEACON ADEDAPO ADEWOLE

Children of Issachar 

Deacon Adewole oversees this prayer ministry that specializes in interceding for those who desire jobs and business success.  Children of Issachar also provides practical support by assisting with writing resumes, references, and training members to be leaders. In addition,   Deacon Adewole has a burden for feeding and caring for the needy. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Master of Science degree in Computer Systems Management. Deacon Adewole is married to Oluseyi, and they have 3 children. 

REV. BABS AWOSIKA

Judah Prayer Group

Rev. Awosika serves as a minster at JHDC and the leader of Judah, a ministry that focuses on praying for those who need healing. To help prepare for effectively serving in ministry, Rev. Awosika completed a program in Pastoral Ministry. He has a Bachelor’s degree in English. Rev. Awosika is married to Nike, and they have two children. 

PASTOR OLUBUNMI  BAJOMO-AKINDELE

Visitation and Care 

Pastor Olubunmi oversees a ministry of compassion designed to comfort families at JHDC with love and support during illness or bereavement. Because of her caring nature, she is switching her full-time career from real estate to nursing. Pastor Olubunmi has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Finance). She is also pursuing a diploma in Theology. 

Pastor Olubunmi enjoys reading, basketball, traveling, and observing diverse cultures. She has been married for more than 27 years to Dr. Johnson Olusoji Akindele.  They have 3 children. 

DEACON OPEYEMI BOROFFICE

Multimedia 

Deacon Ope presides over the audio, video, and duplication departments as well as the quarterly in-house magazine Envoy, and the weekly JHDC broadcast, Good News Network. Occasionally he will come from behind the scenes and serve as the program’s anchor. 

Deacon Ope is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston (B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, minor in Architecture), and Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX (M.S. in Facilities Development and Management).  He enjoys singing and writing songs. Deacon Ope is happily married to Feyi and they are blessed with two sons. 

DEACONESS CHRISTIANAH BOLANLE EDDO

Ruth Ministry

Deaconess Eddo oversees the JHDC ministry aptly named RUTH.  Its goal is to meet the needs of widows, as the Biblical character Ruth so lovingly did. Deaconess Eddo is passionate about the Hospitality ministries. 

She is a Registered Nurse by profession with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a post graduate certificate in Clinical Pastoral Nursing. She describes herself as “adventurous.”  Deaconess Eddo is married with five children. 

PASTOR JOSEPH ERU

Marriage Ministry 

Pastor Joseph serves as an assistant pastor at JHDC and oversees the Marriage Ministry with its focus on pre-marital counselling.  He is dedicated to helping young couples set a godly tone very early in their marriage and watch it blossom to what God intends it to be.

Pastor Eru holds a Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying and Mapping  and is a Network Engineer.  He is an ardent follower of the English Premiership Soccer.  Pastor Joseph is married to his best friend, Olufunke and they have three children. 

PASTOR AYODELE FAKULUJO

Sunday School

Pastor Fako is passionate about simplifying the principles of authentic Christian living. He gets an opportunity to do so while leading Sunday School.  Before coming to Jesus House, DC he served as a church planter and pastor for eight years. Pastor Fako has a Pastor Fako has a diploma in Theology, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration.

He enjoys playing chess, squash, and swimming. He and his wife Irene have two daughters. 

DEACON ABIMBOLA FASOSIN

Church Administrator

Deacon Fasosin’s more than fifteen years experience in management, financial, and accounting systems makes him well suited to serve as Church administrator. He holds a Certificate in Accounting, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics, and an MS in Financial Management.

Deacon Fasosin enjoys traveling, mentoring, and singing. He is married with three wonderful children. 

DEACON OLATUNDE OGUNGBADE

Strategic Planning Initiatives and Special Events

Deacon Olatunde is responsible for successful planning and execution of JHDC programs and initiatives through strategic partnerships with other church departments. He also assists the church in aligning its priorities and resources toward accomplishing its vision and mission. 

His career expertise includes business development with international clients and management consulting with large accounting firms.  He is presently an Enterprise Architect (Information Technology Leader and Division Manager).  Deacon Olatunde holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Real Time Systems.  He and his wife, Bukky have two children. 

PASTOR MILVERTON OJEGUN

Levites Prayer Group

Pastor Milverton was ordained an Assistant Pastor in 2000. He is the minister in charge of the Levites Prayer Group. Its concentrated focus is praying concerning Immigration issues that impact church members.

In his secular profession, Pastor Milverton works as a Cad Engineering System Specialist at one of America’s busiest airports. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Physics/Computer Science, a Master’s degree in Applied Geophysics and a Diploma in Theology. In his spare time, he enjoys playing lawn tennis and soccer.  Pastor Milverton and his wife Mreta have three boys.

PASTOR ADEOYE OGUNTOMILADE

Music Ministry 

Pastor Adeoye oversees the four choirs at Jesus House, DC: Perfected Praise, Kingdom Voices, The Anointed Choir, and Men of Praise. His interests are multi-faceted. He loves   encouraging people, teaching God’s Word, and listening to faith building sermons. 

Pastor Adeoye’s vocational career includes practicing dentistry for three years, conducting clinical research, and currently working as a public health analyst. He holds a Master’s in Public health. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, roller skating, and watching European soccer and NBA games. He is married to Lola and they have two children. 

PASTOR CHINYERE OLUJIDE

Ministry Operations Coordinator

Pastor Chinyere is an Assistant Pastor and responsible for coordinating all the ministry affairs in JHDC. She is passionate about seeing people live according to God’s plan and design for them by yielding to the leadership of His Spirit 

Before joining the JHDC staff, Pastor Chinyere enjoyed a ten plus year career in the IT industry as a Graphics designer, database programmer, and consultant.  She holds a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Pastor Chinyere, a widow, loves spending time with her three sons and playing the guitar. 

DEACON OLUMUYIWA OLUSEYE

The King’s Table

Deacon Olumuyiwa oversees the ministry that regularly feeds the less privileged and homeless. He also hosts special Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. He is greatly burdened for those who don’t know Christ. 

Deacon Olumuyiwa holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Studies, an asset for his stint as a professor and broadcaster. He loves reading, traveling, and riding horses. Deacon Olumuyiwa is married to his sweetheart, Aderonke, and they have three children. 

DEACON OMOBOLAJI OMOTAYO-BENSON

Prayer Ministries

Deacon Omobolaji firmly believes in the power or prayer. He oversees all the prayer ministries (seven) in the church.  He is passionate about encouraging people to stand firm on the Word of God despite prevalent circumstances until testimonies are birthed. 

Deacon Omobolaji owns an IT Solutions company and is a Senior Oracle Database Consultant.  He and his wife, Oluwatosin have two daughters. His hobbies are swimming and watching sports. 

DEACON RAPHAEL OSAMOR

Protocol Ministry      

Deacon Ralph utilizes his expertise as a Security Professional in his position at JHDC overseeing four ministries: Holy Police, Foyer, Usher, and Protocol. He has protected numerous celebrities, professional athletes, and religious leaders.

Deacon Ralph has dual degrees in Criminal Justice and Criminology.

His hobbies include playing ping pong, counselling, and motivational speaking. He is happily married to Benedicta and they have four children. 

DEACONESS TOLU PETERS

Believers Academy, JHDC Mentoring Program 

Through the Believers Academy, Deaconess Tolu coordinates the New Converts, Water Baptism, and Foundation classes. The curriculum is designed to help new Christians have a deeper understanding of their decision to give their lives to Christ and to provide the foundation required to be a successful Christian. Deaconess Tolu is equally committed to coordinating JHDC’s mentoring program to young professionals.  She also works closely with the Senior Pastor’s team by providing a framework for implementing  JHDC’s vision and yearly priorities. 

Professionally, Deaconess Tolu is an HR professional with a certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University and degrees in Industrial Design and Marketing. She is married with two children.
