What if I
don’t have a ride to church?
If you call the church office by 5 pm on
Friday, the Church Secretary –
Mary Kokumo – will make arrangements for you to be
picked up.
Where can I park?
“If there
are no spaces at the meters, you are encouraged to park at
the Public Parking Garage located on Fenton Avenue (between
Sligo and Silver Spring Avenues).
Please do not park
on private properties, driveways or other “No Parking” areas
as your car will be TOWED OR TICKETED.
The church
provides a shuttle from the parking garage to the church and
parking is free on Sundays.
What is
appropriate to wear to church?
At JHDC, we
welcome you as you are! People dress in a variety of ways –
casual, professional, traditional.
How
do you become a member of Jesus House, DC?
We do not have a
formal membership process. To the JHDC family, membership
means commitment – us to you and you to us.
Our
commitment is to encourage you to know Jesus Christ and to
grow in your relationship with Him. We want to minister to
every area of your life and encourage you to tap into what
God purposed for your life so you can live an abundant,
fulfilling life.
We expect you to
be committed to our vision and mission, to be involved in at
least one ministry and to
demonstrate good financial stewardship by giving financially
to support God’s work through JHDC.
What is RCCG?
RCCG is
The Redeemed Christian Church of God, a Bible believing
family of churches to which Jesus House DC belongs.
RCCG began
as a group prayer meeting, in response to the growing need
to worship God in Spirit and in Truth.
